Immaculate Mary
The
virginity in the state of grace is maternity. The perfume of the Virgin floods
the earth of precious balms, and Her bright and transparent eyes tell the people
that to be pure is not difficult, neither impossible.
Rather,
purity is elation of maternity. Poor men are those who, to defend themselves
from their ugliness, say that those people who have not embraced the marriage
are sterile people.
The
Sacred Writing says: If you let your daughter get married, you do well, if you
don't let her get marry, you do better (cfr. 1 Cor 7, 38).
The
greatness of the integrity gives Christ the perfume of His creation. One can
refute to have a human bridegroom to be spiritual mother with the divine
Bridegroom.
The
greatness of Mary is not only in having become the Mother of
the Savior, but in having been chosen to become it because humble.
Certainly virginity is great and brings to great conquests if it is soaked with
humility.
Without
humility Mary would not have been our Mother. She, the Lord's handmaid, humble
and silent, becomes the Bride of the Holy Spirit and therefore of the Church.
Mary,
beautiful more than all the beautiful women of the world, is the bright star of
the sea in storm, the mysticism Bride of the Divine Spirit, She the Savior's
Mother, our Mother at the feet of the cross of Her Child Jesus, the Savior of
the sinner humanity that every day prays You and tells You: «Ave
Maria, gratia plena... ora pro nobis peccatoribus».
Turn
Your compassionate look toward Your people, You that move Your solitary
footsteps in the silence of the night toward whom
invokes and calls as Mother. Nobody ever resorts to You without being
granted.
I now pray You and tell You: «Admirable mother bless and teach me how to implore the Father as one day you taught to Your Child Jesus».
