TEACHER OF LIFE

Child of God and teacher of souls, you are the chosen, selected to drive a flock for the eternity. Your mission asks for rectitude of life, wisdom of customs, holiness of good works. Take in mind, Priest, that you are not such for what you do, but for what you are.

The works without the faith are nothing for God, because the good works are not ownership of man, even if man is a tool for accomplish them. If you are holy you will receive merit to the good that you do; but if you operate the good out of the state of grace, that good won't be lasting.

God has created you free to operate both the good and the evil, but if you want to possess the peace of the heart and being heir of Your kingdom, you have to live well.

Christ, Man-God, in all the pictures of His life He is mirror for us of perfect humility.

He has received from His Father and has revealed to His brothers with simplicity of heart.

The Gospel, through its expressions, introduces us His majestic Figure with deep, but easy words to understand Him.

Christ is not the man of the chatters, of the useless words, of the resentment, of the pride, of the arrogance, of the haughtiness. He has shown to be the friend of the small ones, of the poor men, of the sinners, and on the tracks of His walk He has left the smile of an abandoned life to the Wish of the Father. Priest, bend your head and obey gladly, without argument and without the pretense to want to do what you like it.

God has called you to be a faithful server for Him. Don't pretend the place of a master, because only to whom who will choose the last place it shall be given the first. In the silence of your works you will teach the people that God has entrusted you. People read in your life and study to imitate you.

For a Priest silence is a great virtue of prudence.

To act in noise can mean to want to show that one is someone, while to speak plain is of the balanced people that show to give what they have received from God.

Courage brother! Work and pray without trouble; the whole rest will make the Lord.
