Prayer to the

Sacred Heart of Jesus

 

 

Oh Divine Heart, flesh of the immaculate flesh of the Most Holy Virgin; Heart rich of Her virtues and Father’s powers; Heart, immeasurable treasure of hopes, whose fire projects over all the hearts in the world; in this world so plenty of mud and arrogance, look at me: I’m a poor sinner.

 

Sweet Heart, rich of love and hope, grant charity him who is cold, indifferent, who disbelieves Your presence, who believes in other divinities except you, unique and true God.  

Help the childless women have babies, widows find a new faithful companion, the separates and divorced observe Your law so that their children may be educated by their father and mother themselves.

 

Oh adorable Heart of Jesus, pour forth the fires of Your love over those who still ignore You, and those who, even knowing You abandon You. Pour forth over the passionate, the vindictive persons, over the killer and the suicide. Have mercy at their meeting with You at the final judgement.

 

Send Your powerful blessing to the leaders of the nations in order that they turn fights into peace. Assist, like an affectionate brother, Son of a merciful Mother, all those children who are in those lands plagued by wars and destructions. Receive those children innocently defeated by the death in the largeness of Your Heart with the forgiveness of their sins.

 

Oh adorable Heart of my Jesus, do that I love You everyday more and more.

 

Give me Your holy blessing, and You that everything You see and grant, help me with what I mostly need. Amen
