Sadness is Slavery

 

Free yourself from the chains of pride, egoism, double face, from the defect of bad-thinking, fear of punishment, calumny, thirst for threats, revenge, from the desire of usurping other’s office, from impure passion whose shape, always and very soon, reflects devil’s physiognomy on victim’s face.

Free yourself from hate, hypocrisy, rage, tyranny, longing for possessing what is not yours: money or other’s body.

Let indolence and pleasant idleness be far from you, and recognising that time flies and does not return, clean your soul of its sins at the tribunal of repentance, and your face will be serene again, because your spirit will be free from every weight hanging it in agony till the death.
